The Glittertail Lure is a tinsel and jointed bucktail type musky lure.  The lure features an interchangeable blade unit and skirt-hook unit.  The units are split ringed together.  The lure is offered assembled or in separate units, for easy, reasonable priced replacement.  We specialize in offering, direct retail, custom designed blade and skirt combinations.  Currently we have 25 tinsel and blade colors, which can be combined to form bait fish colors and endless other combinations.  The tinsel can be combined in different percentages: we have approximately 200 skirt color combinations currently, with the potential for many more.  All blade units, both weighted and non weighted, are interchangeable with all 4 sizes of Glittertails, and also can be attached to any other manufacturers lure with a split ring.  Blade and skirt-hook units can be easily changed with the aid of a good split ring plier.  Our main frame structure wire is .051" diameter stainless steel for Magnum, Regular, and Mini Glittertails.  Baby Glittertails use .035" diameter wire for blade units. We use heavy duty #5 (86lb), #7 (93lb), and standard #8 (80 lb) stainless steel split rings.  Front hooks are double split ringed on for flexibility and ease of changing to single barb hooks or replacement.  Rear hooks are split ringed on for easy replacement, and shrink tubed in place, for positive hooking of those back nippers.

    Magnum Glittertail:  16 inches long - 3 #8/0 treble hooks and a blade unit with 2#10x.025" thick musky magnum blades, (Series MA-8) (4.89 oz. lure wt.)

    Glittertail: 10 inches long - 2 #8/0 treble hooks and a blade unit with 2#10x.025" thick musky magnum blades, (Series A-8: 3.4 oz. weighted lure wt.) (Series LA-8; 2.8 oz. non-weighted lure wt.)

    Mini Glittertail: 7.5 inches long - 1 #7/0 treble hook and a blade unit with 2#12x.025" thick Magnum Indiana blades, (Series B-5) (1.77 oz. lure wt.)

    Baby glittertail: 6 inches long - 1 #4/0 x 4X strong  treble hook and a blade unit with 2#8x.018" thick Colorado deep cup blades, (Series C-4) (1.44 oz. lure wt.)

Stocked blades: #15 stainless, #12Magnum Musky, #10Magnum Musky, #12 Magnum Indiana, #8 and #6 Colorado deep cup, #8 French, # 9 fluted Indiana, and various size willowleaf blades.  A wide verity of colors are also stocked.
